Amends the Senior Citizens and Disabled Persons Property Tax Relief Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the definition of "rent constituting property taxes accrued".

1 AN ACT concerning aging.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Senior Citizens and Disabled Persons
5Property Tax Relief Act is amended by changing Section 3.11 as
6follows:
7 (320 ILCS 25/3.11) (from Ch. 67 1/2, par. 403.11)
8 Sec. 3.11. "Rent constituting property taxes accrued"
9means 25% of the the amount of gross rent paid in a taxable
10year for a residence which was subject to ad valorem property
11taxes in that year under the Property Tax Code.
