SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Edmond A. Heitz of Bloomington, who
4passed away on December 4, 2016; and
5 WHEREAS, Edmond Heitz was born in Spring Valley to Herb and
6Dorothy Dixon Heitz on November 28, 1944; he married Toni J.
7Girard in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 22, 1972; and
8 WHEREAS, Edmond Heitz was preceded in death by his sister,
9Judy Manthei; his father, Herb Heitz; his mother, Dorothy Rue;
10and his stepfather, who helped raise him, Joe Rue; and
11 WHEREAS, Edmond Heitz is survived by his wife of over 40
12years, Toni; his daughters, Heidi (Kevin) Heitz-Lowe, Holly
13(Jeremy) Hensley, and Jari King; his grandchildren, Devon
14(Danielle) Oaks, Sheldon Oaks, Lindsey King, Mason King, and
15Camryn Bintz; his great-grandchildren, Leon and Lilly Oaks,
16Aria Herron, and Nevaeh King; his brothers, Bill (Judy) Heitz,
17and his twin brother, Gene (Cindy) Heitz; and his very special
18nieces and nephews who all loved spending time with "Uncle Ed"
19as much as he loved spending time with them; therefore, be it
20 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
21ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Edmond A. Heitz, and extend our sincere condolences to his
2family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
3further
4 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5presented to the family of Edmond Heitz as an expression of our
