| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Marge Olszewki of McHenry, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on April 24, 2013; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Marge Olszewki was born on February 7, 1922, in | ||||||
| 6 | Chicago to Andrew and Margaret Dougal; she married Raymond | ||||||
| 7 | Olszewki in Chicago on July 1, 1944; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Marge Olszewki, affectionately known as "Mrs. | ||||||
| 9 | Ray" or "Mar", brought the joy of dance to the city of McHenry | ||||||
| 10 | for more than 54 years with the Mar Ray Dance Studio; she and | ||||||
| 11 | her husband also gave the city of Palatine many years of | ||||||
| 12 | laughter and excitement with Mar Ray Costumes; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Marge Olszewki enjoyed sewing, reading, dancing, | ||||||
| 14 | traveling, and spending the winters in Florida; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Marge Olszewki was preceded in death by her | ||||||
| 16 | parents; her husband; her sons, Ramon and Robert Olszewki; and | ||||||
| 17 | many loved ones; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Marge Olszewki is survived by her children, Carol | ||||||
| 19 | (Bill) Dick and Ron (Sue) Christian; her daughter-in-law, Jill | ||||||
| 20 | (Dave) Stone; her grandchildren, Ryan (Marnie) Olszewki, Shawn | ||||||
