2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Dr. Charles A. Baznik, formerly of Oak | ||||||
4 | Park and Park Ridge, who passed away on July 22, 2009; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Dr. Charles A. Baznik, was Professor of Psychology | ||||||
6 | and Director of the Counseling Bureau at Kansas State Teacher's | ||||||
7 | College in Emporia, Kansas, and Management Psychologist and | ||||||
8 | founder of Baznik and Associates, Ltd; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, He was a former resident of Oak Park, with his | ||||||
10 | first wife, Lorry (George) Philbin; he was a longtime resident | ||||||
11 | of Murphy Lake in Park Ridge; and a former winter resident of | ||||||
12 | the West Indian Club in the Grand Caymans; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Dr. Charles Baznik was the beloved husband of the | ||||||
14 | late
Susan; the loving
father of Connie (Joel Monarch),
Tony, | ||||||
15 | Michael
(Colleen), Brian (Bill Voss), and his late daughter, | ||||||
16 | Vicki; the loving stepfather of Lisa (Alex Noriega) and Amy | ||||||
17 | (Joe Shaller) O'Connor; the devoted grandfather of Mars | ||||||
18 | Monarch,
Julia and Ellen Baznik, and Nick Noriega; and the | ||||||
19 | uncle of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

20 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL | ||||||
21 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |

1 | his family and friends, the passing of Dr. Charles Baznik; and | ||||||
2 | be it further

3 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
