| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Kara Lynn Fukala Allred of Streamwood, | ||||||
| 4 | who passed away on June 9, 2023; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Kara Allred was born to Manfred Fukala and | ||||||
| 6 | Shirlene Tobias in Chicago on June 15, 1968; she graduated | ||||||
| 7 | from Notre Dame High School in 1986; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Kara Allred worked for the robotics and | ||||||
| 9 | automation company FANUC for 23 years; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Kara Allred loved food and cooking, and some of | ||||||
| 11 | her signature dishes included her white bean chicken chili, | ||||||
| 12 | corned beef for Reuben sandwiches on St. Patrick's Day, and | ||||||
| 13 | steak tacos; she also enjoyed hosting, entertaining, and | ||||||
| 14 | welcoming others; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Kara Allred enjoyed spending time outdoors, | ||||||
| 16 | especially in the summer, and exercising; she loved traveling | ||||||
| 17 | and attending music festivals and any other events that | ||||||
| 18 | featured live music;
she was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, | ||||||
| 19 | the Chicago Bulls, the Chicago Cubs, and the Chicago | ||||||
| 20 | Blackhawks, and she also enjoyed watching horse racing; and
| ||||||

| 1 | WHEREAS, Kara Allred was the heartbeat of the Fukala | ||||||
| 2 | family; she was known for being adventurous, naturally funny, | ||||||
| 3 | and a great storyteller; she will be remembered for her | ||||||
| 4 | encouraging words that brought confidence and joy to others; | ||||||
| 5 | and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Kara Allred was preceded in death by her mother; | ||||||
| 7 | her grandmother, Mildred Tobias; her younger sister, Kristie | ||||||
| 8 | Fukala; and her uncle, Klaus Fukala; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Kara Allred is survived by her father; her | ||||||
| 10 | stepmother, Bonnie Fukala; her siblings, Kevin Fukala and | ||||||
| 11 | Jennifer Fukala; her uncle, Werner Fukala; her aunts, Diane | ||||||
| 12 | Fukala and Donna Fukala; her nephew, Cassius Fukala; her | ||||||
| 13 | niece, Evie Rose Fukala; and her cousins, Jeff, Mitchell, and | ||||||
| 14 | Megan Fukala, Kimberly, Joshua, and Haley Harr, Brian Fukala, | ||||||
| 15 | Tammy Vogt Tove, and Todd Franek; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 16 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL | ||||||
| 17 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
| ||||||
| 18 | Kara Lynn Fukala Allred and extend our sincere
condolences to | ||||||
| 19 | her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
