2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Jeff Whipple, who passed away on May 18, | ||||||
4 | 2019; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Jeff Whipple was a long-time lobbyist with the | ||||||
6 | firm Jeffrey T. Whipple and Associates, established in 1971; he | ||||||
7 | was elected Third House Speaker in 1994; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Jeff Whipple raised his family in Northbrook and | ||||||
9 | then lived at Conway Farms in Lake Forest for several years; he | ||||||
10 | was an avid golfer and was regarded as a true gentleman; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Jeff Whipple was preceded in death by his parents, | ||||||
12 | Herb and Marge Whipple; and his sister, Joan (Erik Ediger) | ||||||
13 | Whipple; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Jeff Whipple is survived by his wife, Jan; his | ||||||
15 | son, Clayton (Kirsten) Whipple; his daughter, Dana (Mark) Katz; | ||||||
16 | his grandchildren, Chase, Jack, Hunter, Emerson, Austin, and | ||||||
17 | Finley; his brother, Larry (Susan) Whipple; and his nephews, | ||||||
18 | Benjamin (Kristy) and Matthew (Bethany) Whipple; therefore, be | ||||||
19 | it
