SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Theodore M. Sente of Vernon Hills, who
passed away on December 31, 2011; and
WHEREAS, Theodore Sente was born on February 24, 1925 in
Budapest, Hungary; his parents were Tibor and Angela Szente;
and
WHEREAS, Theodore Sente was founder and president of Sente &
Rubel Architects for 25 years; he devoted much of his free
time to the church; and
WHEREAS, Theodore Sente loved traveling, skiing, opera,
and hunting; and
WHEREAS, Theodore Sente was preceded in death by his
parents; his sister, Klara; and his daughter, Christine Sente;
and
WHEREAS, Theodore Sente is survived by his wife of 54
years, Olga; his daughters, Carol Sente and Clare Sente; and
his grandchildren, Natalie and Jake Machtig; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL

ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
his family and friends, the passing of Theodore M. Sente; and
be it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Theodore Sente as an expression of
our sympathy.
