2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of Wade R. Bivins of East Carondelet, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on November 29, 2023; and

5 | WHEREAS, Wade Bivins was born to Clarence H. and Helen D. | ||||||
6 | (Kuni) Bivins in East Saint Louis on October 18, 1966; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Wade Bivins worked on the Mississippi River for | ||||||
8 | 20 years; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Wade Bivins was a volunteer firefighter for the | ||||||
10 | Prairie DuPont Fire Department for 39 years and was a member of | ||||||
11 | the Emergency Services & Disaster Agency for 10 years; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Wade Bivins loved hunting and traveling with his | ||||||
13 | wife; he especially enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren and | ||||||
14 | having a drink with friends and family; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Wade Bivins was preceded in death by his parents; | ||||||
16 | his brothers, Marvin Bivins, Roger Bivins, and Raymond Bivins; | ||||||
17 | and his sisters-in-law, Rhonda McAbee and Amanda Bivins; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Wade Bivins is survived by his wife of 35 years, | ||||||
19 | Paula (Goss) Bivins; his daughters, Tabetha (fiancé, Tony |
