2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of Don R. "Barney" Graham of Rock Island, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on December 28, 2021; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Barney Graham was born in Fairdealing, Missouri | ||||||
6 | on December 7, 1926; he was the son of Calvin and Rosa (Hall) | ||||||
7 | Graham; he married Bonnie Jones in Rock Island on June 15, | ||||||
8 | 1963; he served in the U.S. Army; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Barney Graham worked for IH Farmal in Rock | ||||||
10 | Island, retiring after 32 years of service; he also owned | ||||||
11 | Bonnie & Barney's Tavern in Moline; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Barney Graham was preceded in death by his | ||||||
13 | son-in-law, Michael Imig, a sister, and five brothers; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Barney Graham is survived by his stepdaughter, | ||||||
15 | Bonnie Imig; his grandchildren, Heather (Jacob) Barlow, Emily | ||||||
16 | (Mark) Hotchkiss, Amanda (Burnell) Eckardt, and Michelle Imig; | ||||||
17 | his great-grandchildren, Nadia Barlow, Nick Barlow, Bevy | ||||||
18 | Eckardt, Millie Eckardt, and Mikey Eckardt; and his brothers, | ||||||
19 | Raymond Graham, Joseph Graham, and Jim Graham; therefore, be | ||||||

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||

4 | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
