2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Edward P. Schroeder of Crystal Lake, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on January 6, 2014; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Edward Schroeder was born on April 12, 1944 in | ||||||
6 | Chicago; his parents were Edward and Dorthea (nee Brunke) | ||||||
7 | Schroeder; he married Patricia Menge on October 9, 1976; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Edward Schroeder served in the United States | ||||||
9 | Marine Corps from 1968 to 1970; during his stint in the Marine | ||||||
10 | Corps, he was stationed in Kansas City, Missouri; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Edward Schroeder enjoyed hunting and fishing, | ||||||
12 | especially at his cabin in Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin, and | ||||||
13 | spending time with his family; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Edward Schroeder was preceded in death by his | ||||||
15 | parents; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Edward Schroeder is survived by his wife, Patricia | ||||||
17 | Schroeder; his children, Ryan (Julie) Schroeder, Jason (Tom) | ||||||
18 | Schroeder, Chris (Cori Molenda) Schroeder, and Tracy (Sean) | ||||||
19 | Pederson; his brother, Keith (Mary) Schroeder; his sister, | ||||||
20 | Susan (Jesse) Thomas; and his grandchildren, Landon, Charlie, |

2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
4 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Edward P. Schroeder; | ||||||
5 | and be it further

6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
