2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Anthony Michael "Tony" Ryan of Oak Park, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on November 20, 2013; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Tony Ryan was born on January 29, 1975 in | ||||||
6 | Jacksonville to Catherine and John Ryan; he graduated from | ||||||
7 | Waverly High School in 1993 and from the University of Illinois | ||||||
8 | Urbana-Champaign in 1997, with a bachelor's degree in | ||||||
9 | Mechanical Engineering; he married Alexandra on April 28, 2001; | ||||||
10 | and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Tony Ryan and his family settled in Oak Park in | ||||||
12 | 2004 and he began working at Sargent & Lundy, LLC. in Chicago; | ||||||
13 | and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Tony Ryan was active with St. Giles Catholic | ||||||
15 | Parish in Oak Park, especially with the Family Mass community; | ||||||
16 | he enjoyed genealogy, history, astronomy, and taking road trips | ||||||
17 | with his family; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Tony Ryan was preceded in death by his father, | ||||||
19 | John; and
| ||||||
20 | WHEREAS, Tony Ryan is survived by his wife, Alexandra; his |

1 | daughters, Emma, Abigail, and Samantha; his mother, Catherine; | ||||||
2 | his siblings, Ann Manning, Rita Robson, Mary Hickerson, Gina | ||||||
3 | Hawk, John Ryan, and Brother Joseph Ryan, Order of Saint | ||||||
4 | Benedict; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and an entire | ||||||
5 | community of faith; therefore, be it

6 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
7 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
8 | Anthony Michael "Tony" Ryan, and extend our sincere condolences | ||||||
9 | to his family, friends, and all who new and loved him; and be | ||||||
10 | it further

11 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
12 | presented to the family of Tony Ryan as an expression of our | ||||||
