2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Robert A. "Bob" Sanders, Jr. of | ||||||
4 | Winchester, who passed away on October 7, 2015; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Bob Sanders was born in Jerseyville on September | ||||||
6 | 2, 1967 to Robert Allen Sanders, Sr. and Patricia Ann Jackson | ||||||
7 | Owings; he graduated from Winchester High School, Lincoln Land | ||||||
8 | Community College, and the University of Illinois at | ||||||
9 | Springfield with his bachelors degree in mathematics and a | ||||||
10 | teaching endorsement; he received his masters degree in | ||||||
11 | educational leadership from the American College of Education; | ||||||
12 | he married Peggy Ann Welsh; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Bob Sanders taught math in Taylorville, | ||||||
14 | Winchester, and Jacksonville; he coached boys and girls track | ||||||
15 | and basketball and was the assistant football coach in | ||||||
16 | Winchester; he was currently Principal at AC Central Middle and | ||||||
17 | High School; and

18 | WHEREAS, Bob Sanders was a member of St. Mark's Church in | ||||||
19 | Winchester; he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the | ||||||
20 | Illinois Principals Association; and
| ||||||
21 | WHEREAS, Bob Sanders is survived by his wife, Peggy; his |

1 | daughters, Mandy (Brian) Friedrich and Laura (Michael) | ||||||
2 | Williams; his brother, Mike Sanders; his grandsons, Devon | ||||||
3 | Williams and Bryce Friedrich; and his grandfather, Glen | ||||||
4 | Jackson; therefore, be it

5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
7 | Robert A. "Bob" Sanders, Jr., and extend our sincere | ||||||
8 | condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved | ||||||
9 | him; and be it further
| ||||||
10 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
11 | presented to the family of Bob Sanders as an expression of our | ||||||
12 | deepest sympathy.
