2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Donald J. "Don" Rench of Rock Island, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on August 16, 2020; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Don Rench was born on September 16, 1933; and
| ||||||
6 | WHEREAS, Don Rench served in the U.S. Air Force as a staff | ||||||
7 | sergeant; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Don Rench was a retired Rock Island firefighter; | ||||||
9 | and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Don Rench was preceded in death by his grandson, | ||||||
11 | Steven Rench; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Don Rench is survived by his children, Lisa | ||||||
13 | Johnson and Donald (Barb) Rench Jr.; his grandchildren, Thomas | ||||||
14 | Joseph Cross, Stephen S. Cross, C. Michael Cross, Lauren | ||||||
15 | Kathleen (Nathan) Bloomquist, and Joseph James Rench; and three | ||||||
16 | great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

17 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
18 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
19 | Donald J. "Don" Rench and extend our sincere condolences to his |
