| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Ronald Lee "Ron" Sparks of Bloomington, | ||||||
| 4 | who passed away on September 15, 2020; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Ron Sparks was born in LeRoy to Wayne and Elsie | ||||||
| 6 | Hart Sparks on April 7, 1938; he married Carol Tudor on | ||||||
| 7 | September 21, 1958, and she preceded him in death in 1986; he | ||||||
| 8 | married Marilyn Gregory in Las Vegas on September 7, 1987; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Ron Sparks owned Sparky's Home Improvement; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Ron Sparks was a member of the Bloomington | ||||||
| 11 | Corvette Club and served in the United States Army Reserve; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Ron Sparks was preceded in death by his first | ||||||
| 13 | wife, Carol; his infant son, Ronald D. Sparks; and his nephew, | ||||||
| 14 | Rick Sparks; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Ron Sparks is survived by his wife, Marilyn; his | ||||||
| 16 | daughter, Angela Sparks; his grandchildren, Josh, J.R., | ||||||
| 17 | Austin, and Destiny Prewitt; and nine great-grandchildren; | ||||||
| 18 | therefore, be it
