2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Devin Alan Rahn of Lake in the Hills, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on August 14, 2014; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Devin Rahn was born in Arlington Heights on May 5, | ||||||
6 | 1988 to Mark and Elke (nee Bove) Rahn; he was a 2006 graduate | ||||||
7 | of Harry D. Jacobs High School and a graduate of Iowa State | ||||||
8 | University, where he was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity; | ||||||
9 | and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Devin Rahn worked in the tire department at Costco | ||||||
11 | in Lake in the Hills for 5 years during college; he was an | ||||||
12 | amateur comedian and co-founder of the Dead End Comedy Club at | ||||||
13 | the Penny Road Pub in Barrington; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Devin Rahn enjoyed playing the guitar and watching | ||||||
15 | and creating funny videos; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Devin Rahn is survived by his parents; paternal | ||||||
17 | grandparents, Richard and Shirley Rahn; brother and sisters, | ||||||
18 | Corey, Markie, and Alexandra; many aunts, uncles and cousins; | ||||||
19 | and childhood friends, Mark Smith and Brian Smith; therefore, | ||||||
20 | be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Devin Alan Rahn, and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
