SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Sharon Lee Schlough of Crystal Lake, who
4passed away on October 11, 2014; and
5 WHEREAS, Sharon Schlough was born in New Castle,
6Pennsylvania on December 9, 1946 to Wilma (nee Mallicoat) and
7Russell Boyd; she graduated from New Castle Junior/Senior High
8School, and, in 1968, attended Western Airlines Flight
9Attendant Training; she was based out of San Francisco and
10married Capt. James E. Schlough; and
11 WHEREAS, Sharon Schlough and her husband settled in Crystal
12Lake and she became a stay-at-home mom; and
13 WHEREAS, Sharon Schlough enjoyed playing tennis with
14friends at The Racket Club; Bunco; cheering Team World Vision
15marathoners; board games; visiting local nursing homes with her
16therapy companion dog, Winston; traveling with her family; and
17gift-giving; and
18 WHEREAS, Sharon Schlough was preceded in death by her
19parents; her sister, Sandra Allain; and her granddaughter, Anna
20Louise Kemen; and

1 WHEREAS, Sharon Schlough is survived by her husband, James;
2her children, Jamie (Ted) Kemen, Carrie, and Gregory; and her
3grandsons, Thomas and Trevor; therefore, be it
4 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Sharon Lee Schlough, and extend our sincere condolences to her
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
8further
9 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Sharon Schlough as an expression of
11our deepest sympathy.
