2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of George J. Wolf of Marengo, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on October 15, 2014; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, George Wolf was born in Philadelphia, | ||||||
6 | Pennsylvania on September 24, 1918 to Anton and Margaret (nee | ||||||
7 | Mundel) Wolf; he married Doloris Schildgen on October 3, 1959 | ||||||
8 | at Sacred Heart Parish in Marengo; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, George Wolf retired from Dean Foods in Chemung | ||||||
10 | after 33 years of service; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, George Wolf was a former member of the Harvard | ||||||
12 | Moose Lodge No. 1289 and enjoyed golfing with friends, bowling, | ||||||
13 | and coaching the Indians in the Marengo-Union Little League | ||||||
14 | baseball program; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, George Wolf was preceded in death by his parents; | ||||||
16 | his first wife, Eileen Shields; an infant daughter, Marcelyn | ||||||
17 | Ann; his sister, Mary Jo Johnson; and his brother, Charles; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, George Wolf is survived by his wife of 55 years, | ||||||
19 | Doloris; 4 children, George (Sandy) Wolf, Eileen Wolf, Teresa | ||||||
20 | (Todd) Gray, and Christopher Wolf; and 3 grandchildren, |

3 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
4 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
5 | George J. Wolf, and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
6 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
7 | further

8 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
