2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Paul Eugene Reid, formerly of Waukegan, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on September 25, 2014; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Paul Reid was born on January 5, 1917 in Batestown | ||||||
6 | and grew up in Danville; he served in the United States Navy | ||||||
7 | for 31 years; he served during World War II on the USS | ||||||
8 | Yorktown; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Paul Reid was a member of the Ancient Free and | ||||||
10 | Accepted Masons; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Paul Reid was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth | ||||||
12 | Lucille (nee Molter); his father, Forrest O. Reid; his mother, | ||||||
13 | Minerva Jean Reid; and his sister, Doris; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Paul Reid is survived by his 2 daughters, Linda | ||||||
15 | (Carl) Nichols and Dianne (Roger) Stolarik, and his 3 | ||||||
16 | grandchildren, Erin Dunkel, Kristine (Dave) Ryan, and Jason | ||||||
17 | Stolarik; therefore, be it

18 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
19 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
20 | Paul Eugene Reid, and extend our sincere condolences to his |
