2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Joseph Sekulich, Jr. of Beach Park, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on September 29, 2014; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Joseph Sekulich, Jr. served his country for 3 and | ||||||
6 | a half years as a member of the United States Navy during World | ||||||
7 | War II; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Joseph Sekulich, Jr. was a member of Plumbers | ||||||
9 | Local Union 93 for over 50 years; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Joseph Sekulich, Jr. enjoyed gardening, tractors, | ||||||
11 | building, mechanical work, and helping others; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Joseph Sekulich, Jr. was preceded in death by his | ||||||
13 | parents, Joseph, Sr. and Kata (nee Vrkljan) Sekulich; a son, | ||||||
14 | James; and 5 sisters, Mary Bosnak, Katherine Koch, Ann | ||||||
15 | Sekulich, Eva Tucka, and Mary Creamer; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Joseph Sekulich, Jr. is survived by his loving | ||||||
17 | wife of 62 years, Joyce (nee McFarland); 3 children, Joseph | ||||||
18 | (Judy), Jerry, and Jill Sekulich; 4 grandchildren, Andrea | ||||||
19 | Sekulich (Nick) Chin, Anthony Lieck, and Samantha and Zachary | ||||||
20 | Sekulich; a great-grandchild, Caden-James Chin; a sister, |

2 | Sekulich; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

3 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
4 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
5 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Joseph Sekulich, Jr.; | ||||||
6 | and be it further
