| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Martha A. Reid of Wheeling; and
| ||||||
| 4 | WHEREAS, Martha Reid was born in Coatbridge, Scotland; her | ||||||
| 5 | parents were Edward and Mary (nee McMullen) Burns; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Martha Reid was the beloved wife of the late | ||||||
| 7 | Thomas "Wilson" Reid; the loving mother of Marian (Dean) | ||||||
| 8 | Argiris, Fiona Reid, and Thomas (Janice) Reid; the dear "Nana" | ||||||
| 9 | of Sam and Alexandra Argiris and Conner and Brendan Reid; the | ||||||
| 10 | fond sister of Betty (Harry) Kerr, the late Thomas (the late | ||||||
| 11 | Josephine) Burns, John (Betty) Burns, and Mary (the late Will) | ||||||
| 12 | Watt; and the aunt and cousin of many; therefore, be it

| 13 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 14 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | ||||||
| 15 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Martha A. Reid; and be | ||||||
| 16 | it further
