        A RESOLUTION honoring Zach Hahn.
    

    Whereas, Senior Zach Hahn was a valuable member of the world renowned Butler Bulldogs;

    Whereas, Coming into the Final Four, the six foot one inch guard had scored only nine points in the Bulldogs' four NCAA tournament games before going to Houston;

    Whereas, On Saturday night at Reliant Stadium versus Virginia Commonwealth University, Zach Hahn stepped up when the Bulldogs needed him most;

    Whereas, With the Bulldogs down two points with under 15 minutes left in the game, Zach Hahn scored eight consecutive

points with back-to-back three point shots and a base-line lay up;

    Whereas, With these points, Zach Hahn helped the Bulldogs gain a lead that they never relinquished in their 70 - 62 victory over Virginia Commonwealth University, winning them another trip to the championship game;

    Whereas, The team captain displayed his true leadership abilities earlier in the season;

    Whereas, Zach Hahn inspired his team after the loss to Youngstown State with his impassioned speech that helped to start the Bulldogs on their path to their back-to-back Final Four and championship game appearances; and

    Whereas, Zach Hahn has helped promote basketball by his outstanding performances and winning attitude throughout his community and the state: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the

General Assembly of the State of Indiana:


    SECTION 1. That the Indiana House of Representatives congratulates Zach Hahn and the Butler Bulldogs on their outstanding season and wishes him and the team continued success in all their future endeavors.
    SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit copies of this resolution to Zach Hahn and his family; Brad Stevens, head coach of the Butler Bulldogs; Athletic Director Barry Collier; and President Bobby Fong.
