Synopsis: Public mass transportation fund. Provides that distributions
from the public mass transportation fund for promoting and developing
public mass transportation in a county containing a consolidated city
must be distributed to the consolidated city and not to a public
transportation corporation located within the county.
Effective: July 1, 2011.

A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning

(b) The treasurer of state may invest the money in the fund in the same manner as other public funds may be invested.
(c) Money in the fund at the end of a fiscal year does not revert to the state general fund.
(d) Money distributed from the fund for promoting and developing public mass transportation in a county containing a consolidated city must be distributed to the consolidated city and not to a public transportation corporation located within the county.
