An Act to convey certain Commonwealth property consisting of the waters of Farm Pond, its tributaries, and water distribution system to the town of Sherborn.


 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.   Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the c ommissioner of c apital a sset m anagement and m aintenance , in consultation with the c ommissioner of m ental h ealth, , shall grant, convey and deed over without consideration to the t own of Sherborn all rights, title or other real property interests that the c ommonwealth may hold pursuant to c hapter 251 of the a cts of 1897 and c hapter 466 of the a cts of 1908, to the waters of Farm p ond in the t own of Sherborn, the tributaries of such Farm Pond, and to a certain easement together with a pipeline from said p ond running underground within the t own of Sherborn, to the boundary between the t own of Sherborn and the t own of Medfield, heretofore used to convey such waters to the former Medfield State Hospital . T he t own of Sherborn may use such rights and interests for public recreation, water supply and fire protection purposes .
