A bill to designate the black swallowtail butterfly as the official butterfly of the state of Michigan.

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 1. The black swallowtail butterfly (Papilio polyxenes) is designated as the official butterfly of this state.

Enacting section 1. This act takes effect 90 days after the date it is enacted into law.
