A bill to amend 1939 PA 280, entitled
"The social welfare act,"
by amending section 10d (MCL 400.10d), as added by 2012 PA 79.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 10d. For the purposes of determining financial
eligibility
for the family independence program or the food
assistance
program administered under this
act, the department
shall apply an asset test.
Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days
after the date it is enacted into law.
