April 17, 2019, Introduced by Senators ANANICH, POLEHANKI, IRWIN, MOSS, ALEXANDER, HOLLIER, BULLOCK, CHANG, MCCANN, GEISS, BAYER, WOJNO, MCMORROW,     BRINKS and HERTEL and referred to the Committee on Families, Seniors, and Veterans.

 

 

 

     A bill to amend 1939 PA 280, entitled

 

"The social welfare act,"

 

by repealing section 5a (MCL 400.5a).

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Enacting section 1. Section 5a of the social welfare act, 1939

 

PA 280, MCL 400.5a, is repealed.

 

     Enacting section 2. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days

 

after the date it is enacted into law.

 

     Enacting section 3. This amendatory act does not take effect

 

unless all of the following bills of the 100th Legislature are

 

enacted into law:

 

     (a) Senate Bill No. 272.

 

 

 

     (b) Senate Bill No. 273.
