A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled
"Public health code,"
(MCL 333.1101 to 333.25211) by adding section 10251.
the people of the state of michigan enact:
Sec. 10251. (1) A person that performs
organ transplants in this state shall not refuse to transplant an organ in a
transplant recipient who is physically or mentally disabled based solely on the
transplant recipient's physical or mental disability.
(2) As used in this section, "organ" means that term as defined in section 10102.
