1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. NORTHLAND COMMUNITY AND TECHNICAL COLLEGE
1.7AVIATION MAINTENANCE TRAINING CENTER.
1.8 Subdivision 1. Appropriation. $3,732,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds
1.9fund to the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities for the
1.10aviation maintenance training center on the Thief River Falls airport site of Northland
1.11Community and Technical College. This appropriation is to demolish approximately
1.1222,000 square feet of the existing structure, complete predesign, design, construct new and
1.13renovate existing spaces, furnish, and equip the aviation maintenance training center with
1.14a new multipurpose lab, unmanned aerial system hanger areas, secure operations center,
1.15and state-of-the-art classrooms.
1.16 Subd. 2. Bond sale. To provide the money appropriated in this section from the
1.17bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue
1.18bonds of the state in an amount up to $3,732,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with
1.19the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the
1.20Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
1.21EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
