1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Daniel L. Bergquist for earning the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.4and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Daniel L. Bergquist is a member of the Boy Scouts of America and has displayed
1.8the attributes of a responsible and serving member since joining the Cub Scouts in 2011. He has
1.9earned the Cub Scout World Conservation Award, the Religious Award Knot, the Conservation
1.10Good Turn Award, the Cub Scout Outdoor Activity Award, the Cub Scout Dr. Alvarez Super Nova
1.11Award, the Historic Trails Award, and the Den Chief Service Award; and
1.12WHEREAS, Daniel has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills, earned 40 Merit badges,
1.13completed a community service project, and fulfilled all other requirements necessary to attain the
1.14rank of Eagle Scout on June 8, 2021; and
1.15WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held; and
1.16NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.17congratulates Daniel L. Bergquist for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.18BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.19copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.20Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Daniel L. Bergquist.
