SB 12 - Under current law, lenders issuing credit cards in Missouri are permitted to contract for, charge and collect fees for credit cards that are allowed in a contiguous state. This act modifies that provision by enabling issuance of credit cards under the same terms and conditions that are allowed in a contiguous state, rather than limiting the provision to only fees.

This act is identical to provisions in the truly agreed to and finally passed SCS/SB 13 (2023), HCS/SCS/SB 187 (2023), SCS/HB 585 (2023), SCS/HCS/HB 725 (2023), and HCS/HB 809 (2023).
