AN ACT

To amend chapter 407, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to tax information on sales receipts.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 407, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 407.439, to read as follows:

            407.439. Any business in this state shall state separately on each sales receipt each tax paid by the purchaser for the retail sale. Such receipt shall include any federal, state, and local cigarette tax, gas tax, liquor and beer tax, sales tax, use tax, tourism tax, sales tax for transportation development districts, and any other excise or sales tax levied.
