AN ACT

To amend chapter 302, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to proof of identity.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 302, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 302.012, to read as follows:

            302.012. Notwithstanding any other law, for purposes of this chapter, documentation for proof of identity shall include but not be limited to the following:

            (1) A Social Security number, if one has been assigned;

            (2) If a Social Security number has not been assigned, the applicant shall present a letter from the Social Security administration regarding the status of the applicant's Social Security number; and

            (3) Military identification.
