AN ACT

To repeal section 534.210, RSMo, and to enact in lieu thereof one new section relating to forcible entry and unlawful detainer.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Section 534.210, RSMo, is repealed and one new section enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as section 534.210, to read as follows:

            534.210. The merits of the title shall in nowise be inquired into, on any complaint which shall be exhibited by virtue of the provisions of this chapter; provided however, if another civil action is pending in the same court by one or more of the same plaintiffs against one or more of the same defendants regarding a common question of law or fact involving the merits of title and possession of the subject premises, the court shall, upon timely motion filed by one of the parties, order such civil actions to be consolidated into one civil action.
