AN ACT

To amend chapter 67, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to political subdivisions.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 67, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 67.220, to read as follows:

            67.220. No political subdivision, including but not limited to any city, county, or fire protection district, shall adopt any ordinance, rule, or code that would require mandatory installation of a sprinkler system in new residential construction in the state of Missouri.
