AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF PERRY COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE ANNUALLY TO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. (1) The Board of Supervisors of Perry County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contribute an amount not to exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) annually out of any available funds of the county to Community Development, Inc., for the purpose of obtaining matching funds for grants and other state and federal government funding and to contract for and fund the operation of human services programs within the county.

(2) The provisions of this act shall stand repealed on June 30, 2020.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
