Senate Bill 2417

AN ACT TO REQUIRE ANY PERSON INCARCERATED FOR NONPAYMENT OF CHILD SUPPORT TO WORK UNLESS THE PERSON IS PHYSICALLY UNABLE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  Unless physically unable, any person incarcerated for nonpayment of child support shall be required to participate in any approved work program.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2010.
