Senate Bill 2827

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF VICKSBURG, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE PIGS-IN-FLIGHT MUSEUM FOR THE BENEFIT OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PROGRAMS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Vicksburg, Mississippi, in their discretion, may contribute annually not more than Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00), out of any available funds of the city, to the Pigs-In-Flight Museum, for the benefit of early childhood education programs.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
