AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF BOLIVAR COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE BOLIVAR COUNTY COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  The Board of Supervisors of Bolivar County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to contribute money from the general fund of the county to the Bolivar County Community Action Agency, Inc., in an amount not to exceed a collective total sum or value of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) upon such terms the board deems to be in the best interest of the county, for the purpose of assisting the agency with the operation of its programs that serve the public interest of the county.

     (2)  This section shall be repealed from and after December 31, 2021.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after January 1, 2020.
