STATEMENT

This bill requires a public institution of higher education to include a link on its website to access information on educational benefits available to veterans.  The link must be placed in a prominent location on the website and its content must be in accordance with guidelines of the New Jersey Commission on Higher Education.

Upon completion of their military service, many veterans desire to further their education by attending an institution of higher education.  In order to ensure that veterans are cognizant of their educational options and the benefits offered to them, it is imperative that information on educational benefits for veterans is easily accessible through a link on every public institution of higher education's website.
