STATEMENT

This bill directs the New Jersey Transit Corporation to undertake, or cause to be undertaken, a study of the feasibility of the use of E-ZPass technology for payment of charges to use parking facilities owned and operated by the corporation.  The study is to examine the positive and negative aspects of the use of E-ZPass technology in those facilities.  Both E-ZPass and E-ZPass Plus are to be examined in this study.  The study is to be completed within six months.
