          and referred to the Committee on Governmental Operations

        AN ACT to amend the public lands law, in relation to requiring a list of
          real property owned by a state or local agency, public  authority,  or
          other political subdivision to be made publicly available

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Section 2 of the public lands law is amended  by  adding  a
     2  new subdivision 2-a to read as follows:
     3    2-a.  The commissioner of general services shall require each state or
     4  local agency, public authority, or other political  subdivision  of  the
     5  state  to  list  the  location,  size, general nature, acquisition date,
     6  market value and percentage of ownership of any  real  property.    Such
     7  list  shall  be  made publicly available on the website of the office of
     8  general services as well as the website of such state or  local  agency,
     9  public authority, or other political subdivision of the state.
    10    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
