          Committee on Health

        AN ACT relating to requiring the department  of  health  to  provide  at
          least  one  site  in  each  county  of the state which offers COVID-19
          vaccinations

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary,
     2  the  department  of health shall establish at least one location in each
     3  county in the state where  COVID-19  vaccinations  shall  be  available;
     4  provided,  however,  that  a  county  may  opt out of such department of
     5  health vaccination site requirement by providing written notification of
     6  such option to the department.
     7    § 2. The department of health shall  establish  an  enrollment  portal
     8  enabling residents to receive notification when they become eligible for
     9  the  COVID-19 vaccination and the location of the site nearest the resi-
    10  dent.
    11    § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
