       AN  ACT  to  amend chapter 253 of the laws of 2004, amending the private
         housing finance  law  relating  to  rehabilitated  multiple  dwellings
         acquired  and  reconveyed  by  the  federal government, in relation to
         extending the effectiveness thereof
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1. Section 2 of chapter 253 of the laws of 2004, amending the
    2  private housing finance law relating to rehabilitated multiple dwellings
    3  acquired and reconveyed by the federal government, as amended by chapter
    4  414 of the laws 2009, is amended to read as follows:
    5    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall  expire  and  be
    6  deemed repealed June 30, [2014] 2018.
    7    S  2.  This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however, that
    8  if this act shall have become a law on or after June 30, 2014, this  act
    9  shall  take  effect immediately and shall be deemed to have been in full
   10  force and effect on and after June 30, 2014.
