       AN  ACT authorizing the commissioner of general services to sell certain
         land to Northeast Brooklyn Housing Development Corporation
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1.  The  commissioner  of  general services is authorized and
    2  empowered to convey state property, as further described in this act and
    3  commonly referred to as 1024  Fulton  Street,  Brooklyn,  New  York  and
    4  convey  for fair market value to the Northeast Brooklyn Housing Develop-
    5  ment Corporation, upon such terms and conditions as he or  she  may  fix
    6  and  determine,  all  of  the property, right, title and interest of the
    7  people of the state of New York.
    8    S 2. The lands authorized by this act to be conveyed are more  partic-
    9  ularly  described  as follows: All that certain plot, piece or parcel of
   10  land, with the buildings  and  improvements  thereon  erected,  situate,
   11  lying  and  being in the city of New York, borough of Brooklyn and state
   12  of New York, designated as block 2015, lot 28 on a tax map of  the  city
   13  of New York, also known as 1024 Fulton Street.
   14    S  3.  The  description  in section two of this act of the lands to be
   15  conveyed is not intended to be a legal description, but is intended only
   16  to identify the premises to be conveyed. As a condition of purchase  the
   17  Northeast  Brooklyn  Housing Development Corporation shall submit to the
   18  commissioner of general services for his or  her  approval  an  accurate
   19  survey  and  description of the lands generally described in section two
   20  of this act, which may be used in the conveyance thereof.
   21    S 4. The commissioner of general services shall  not  grant  the  land
   22  described in section two of this act unless application is made therefor
   23  by  the  Northeast  Brooklyn  Housing Development Corporation within one
   24  year after the effective date of this act.
   25    S 5. This act shall take effect immediately.
