        AN ACT to amend chapter 348 of the laws of 2012 authorizing the  convey-
          ance  of  certain real property in the city of Poughkeepsie subject to
          section twenty of the general city law, in relation to providing legal
          descriptions for such real property
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Sections 1 and 3 of chapter 348 of the laws of 2012 author-
     2  izing  the conveyance of certain real property in the city of Poughkeep-
     3  sie subject to section twenty of the general city  law  are  amended  to
     4  read as follows:
     5    Section  1.  Notwithstanding any inconsistent provisions of section 20
     6  of the general city law, [and in anticipation of a chapter amendment  to
     7  include  metes and bounds for Parcels B and C,] the city of Poughkeepsie
     8  is hereby authorized to convey to 1687 Properties,  LLC,  owned  by  the
     9  not-for-profit  organization The Dyson Foundation, at fair market value,
    10  all its rights, title and interest in the real property and improvements
    11  thereon described as Parcel A, Parcel B and Parcel C in section three of
    12  this act. Provided, however, that Parcel A  shall  be  used  solely  for
    13  non-commercial  recreational  purposes for the general public subject to
    14  existing easements and rights of ways as of the effective date  of  this
    15  act.
    16    § 3. The property authorized by section one of this act to be conveyed
    17  is  generally  described  as a parcel of real property with improvements
    18  thereon, consisting of approximately 2.717 acres, located  at  83  North
    19  Water  Street  in  the  City of Poughkeepsie, County of Dutchess, and is
    20  bounded by the Hudson River on the  west,  the  Fallkill  Creek  on  the
    21  South,  North  Water Street on the East and the property line of Central
    22  Hudson Gas and Electric Corp. on the North, and being more  particularly
    23  described as follows:

     2  Dutchess and State of New York, bounded and described as follows:
     3    Beginning  at  a  point  on  the  assumed westerly line of North Water
     4  Street at the northeasterly corner of lands, now or formerly of Adolfo's
     5  of Poughkeepsie and the southeasterly corner of lands now or formerly of
     6  Center Hudson Gas & Electric Corp., thence along the northerly  line  of
     7  lands now or formerly of Adolfo's of Poughkeepsie, the northerly line of
     8  the  Creek,  and  the southerly line of lands now or formerly of Central
     9  Hudson Gas &  Electric  Corp.,  the  following  three  (3)  courses  and
    10  distances:
    11    1. North 73° 10' 58" West 14.34 feet,

    14  line of the Hudson River, thence along said easterly shore of the Hudson

     4    Beginning  at  a  point located along the westerly line of North Water
     5  Street, said point being located the  following  two  courses  from  the
     6  intersection formed by said westerly line of North Water Street with the
     7  division  line between the lands now or formerly of the Mid Hudson Chil-
     8  drens Museum (Document 0220106410) on the south and  the  lands  of  the
     9  City  of  Poughkeepsie  (Document  0220065546)  on  the  north; 1) North
    10  08°25'51" East, 32.06 feet to a point and 2) North 44°48'46" East, 16.05
    11  feet to a point; thence from said point of  beginning  and  through  the
    12  aforesaid lands of the City of Poughkeepsie, the following four courses:
    13  1) North 67°27'51" West, 82.22 feet to a point; 2) North 31°48'58" West,
    14  39.19  feet  to a point; 3) North 58°06'52" East, 245.35 feet to a point
    15  and 4) South 63°04'04" East, 27.96 feet to a point located in the afore-
    16  said westerly line of North Water Street; thence in a  southerly  direc-

    28    Beginning at a point located along the westerly line  of  North  Water
    29  Street,  said  point  being  located the following five courses from the
    30  intersection formed by said westerly line of North Water Street with the
    31  division line between the lands now or formerly of the Mid Hudson  Chil-
    32  drens  Museum  (Document  0220106410)  on the south and the lands of the
    33  City of Poughkeepsie  (Document  0220065546)  on  the  north;  1)  North
    34  08°25'51" East, 32.06 feet to a point and 2) North 44°48'46" East, 45.43
    35  feet  to  a  point;  3)  North 67°25'17" East, 46.96 feet to a point; 4)
    36  North 26°55'56" East, 236.59 feet to a  point  and  5)  North  22°38'15"
