        COMMEMORATING the 50th Anniversary of Cianfrocco's
        Subs, Wings & Pizza

  WHEREAS,  It  is  the  sense  of  this Legislative Body to recognize
illustrious culinary establishments which have positively  impacted  and
substantially contributed to the vitality of their communities; and

  WHEREAS,  Attendant  to  such  concern,  and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this  Legislative  Body  is  justly  proud  to
commemorate  the  50th  Anniversary of Cianfrocco's Subs, Wings & Pizza;
and

  WHEREAS, The remarkable success of Cianfrocco's Subs, Wings &  Pizza
is  due  in  large  part  to its owners, Ann, and her late husband, Rich
Cianfrocco, and their dedicated staff, whose warmth and hospitality  are
easily  recognized  by  their  loyal  patrons;  this dynamic business is
well-versed in customer service  and  truly  makes  everyone  who  walks
through their door feel like family; and

  WHEREAS,   The   staff's   involvement  is,  and  always  has  been,
characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm,  and
an  uncompromising  standard of excellence in all endeavors on behalf of
the business and the community it serves; and

  WHEREAS, The business came into Rich Cianfrocco's  possession  after
his  cousin Paul opened it a year prior and ultimately decided to pursue
another endeavor; Ann Cianfrocco joined alongside  her  husband  shortly
thereafter  to  assist  in  running  the  business, which was called The
Sub-Way at the time; they specialized in submarine sandwiches and  chips
then,  and later expanded their menu to include chicken wings and pizza,
keeping up with customer demands; and

  WHEREAS, Cianfrocco's Subs, Wings & Pizza pioneered the food service
industry in its home of Rome, New York, being the first  to  offer  food
delivery; and

  WHEREAS,   A   testament   to  the  strength  and  determination  of
Cianfrocco's Subs, Wings & Pizza, the business operated  throughout  the
height  of  the  COVID-19  pandemic,  unwaveringly  providing pickup and
delivery services for their neighbors; and

  WHEREAS, Owner Rich Cianfrocco passed away  in  June  of  2017;  his
dedication  and contributions to the success of Cianfrocco's Subs, Wings
& Pizza have been, and will continue to be, sincerely missed by  members
of his community, his wife, Ann, and their staff; and

  WHEREAS,  For  five  decades,  Cianfrocco's  Subs, Wings & Pizza has
stood as a beloved establishment which has  provided  a  friendly,  open
environment for patrons to collectively gather and share their thoughts,
ideas, and life experiences; and

  WHEREAS,   Owner  Ann  Cianfrocco's  favorite  aspect  of  operating
Cianfrocco's Subs, Wings & Pizza is seeing the many  familiar  customers
who have supported their business over the last five decades; and

  WHEREAS,  It  is  with  great  pleasure  that  this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business  and  its  contributions  to  the
local  and  State  economies,  fully  confident that it will continue to
enjoy  the  sparkling  successes  it  has  experienced  thus  far;  now,
therefore, be it

  RESOLVED,  That  this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Cianfrocco's Subs,  Wings  &  Pizza,
and  to  offer its best wishes for continued success in all their future
endeavors; and be it further

  RESOLVED, That a copy of this  Resolution,  suitably  engrossed,  be
transmitted to Ann Cianfrocco, Owner, Cianfrocco's Subs, Wings & Pizza.
