         printed to be committed to the Committee on Codes
       AN ACT to amend the civil practice law and rules,  in  relation  to  the
         issuance of income executions for distributive awards
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1.  Paragraph 1 of subdivision (a)  of  section  5241  of  the
    2  civil  practice  law and rules, as amended by chapter 398 of the laws of
    3  1997, is amended to read as follows:
    4    1. "Order of support" means any temporary or  final  order,  judgment,
    5  agreement  or  stipulation incorporated by reference in such judgment or
    6  decree in a matrimonial  action  or  family  court  proceeding,  or  any
    7  foreign  support order, judgment or decree, registered pursuant to arti-
    8  cle five-B of the family court act which directs the payment of alimony,
    9  maintenance, support [or], child support OR A DISTRIBUTIVE AWARD.
   10    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
