          printed to be committed to the Committee on Health

        AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation  to  the  posting  of
          additional nursing home ratings

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Subdivision 2 of section 2808-e of the public  health  law,
     2  as  added  by  chapter  441  of  the laws of 2021, is amended to read as
     3  follows:
     4    2. Each nursing home facility shall post its overall  CMS  rating  and
     5  ratings  for  health  inspections,  staffing and quality measures on the
     6  homepage of any website maintained by such facility and on  any  website
     7  or  webpage relating to such facility maintained by an entity which owns
     8  or operates such facility. Each nursing home  shall  also  conspicuously
     9  post  its  most  recent  overall  CMS  rating  and  ratings  for  health
    10  inspections, staffing and quality measures so that it is visible to  the
    11  general public and to residents.
    12    §  2.  This  act shall take effect on the ninetieth day after it shall
    13  have become a law.
