        AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation to  rescheduling  regents
          examinations
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Section 305 of the education law is amended by adding a new
     2  subdivision 55 to read as follows:
     3    55. The commissioner shall reschedule, within  twenty  business  days,
     4  any regents examination that was cancelled for any reason.
     5    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
