S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 4729 2015-2016 Regular Sessions I N S E N A T E April 10, 2015 ___________ Introduced by Sen. NOZZOLIO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to authorizing hunting in the county of Seneca; and providing for the repeal of such provisions upon the expiration thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. Item (i) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 2 of the environmental conservation law, as amended by section 14 of part 3 EE of chapter 55 of the laws of 2014, is amended to read as follows: 4 (i) The counties of Deer, the first Monday Pistol, shotgun, 5 Allegany, Cattaraugus, after November 15 crossbow, 6 Cayuga, Chautauqua through first Tuesday muzzle loading 7 except that portion after December 7 firearm, rifle or 8 of the county north long bow only 9 of route 20, Chemung, 10 Chenango, Herkimer, 11 Madison, 12 Montgomery, Oneida, 13 Oswego, Otsego, 14 Schoharie, Schuyler, 15 Steuben, Tioga, 16 Wyoming, SENECA 17 and Yates 18 and that portion of 19 the county of 20 Broome east of the 21 Susquehanna river 22 S 2. This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however, that: EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD08528-02-5 S. 4729 2 1 a. the amendments to item (i) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of 2 section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law made by section 3 one of this act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such 4 paragraph pursuant to section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as 5 amended; and 6 b. nothing contained in this act shall be construed so as to extend 7 the provisions of this act beyond October 1, 2017, when upon such date 8 this act shall expire and the provisions contained herein shall be 9 deemed repealed.
